The last of my month in Paris but my memories go on and on (just like these videos). Mr. B arrived and we took a train to the Loire Valley - the land of French castles. Chenonceau and it's beautiful gardens, Chateau Du Clos Luce - where Da Vinci lived and created for a time, Chateau De Cheverny - sounds strange but the feeding of the hounds was memorable, Chateau De Chambord - the largest hunting lodge you'll ever see, all of the castles were magical. Mr. B took me to his favorite the Parc De Bagatelle - it's like scenes from movies of french gardens, peacocks, and everything in bloom. La Quartier Latin lives up to it's reputation for it's gaiety (both meanings there). The first Sunday of the month most of the museums are free so I went to 9 before the day ended. I recommend the Orangerie - you'll surround yourself in Monet's lilies, Musee Picasso - a stylish place with someting from all his periods, Gustave Moreau's studio was made into a museum and it is amazing along with his art. The best tour I went on was Le Palais Garnier - the opera house - the stories they tell along with the Chagall dome make it a must do. I finally had to say "Au revoir mon paradis de Paris" But if you ever need a tour guide just pack me in suitcase.
